About Us

We started this craziness in 2002. A few years into it, we brought about our first little moneky and two years later, we added our second crazy little monkey. Things around here are definately all over the place, but we wouldn't want it any other way.

The Social Agenda of a 3 year old

Every morning, before Trent leaves the door, he asks Jonas what he's going to do today. In turn, Jonas will turn to me and ask "mom what are we doing today?" If its a school day the answer is simple. If its not, he usually gets some ramblings about laundry or grocery shopping. If it happens to be a non-school day and he's not up to doing such ramblings, he usually throws in his own agenda. "Lets go to the zoo! " Yeah we ditched the zoo pass a 6 months ago, so that's a no go. "The park?" Dude, kid, its 90 degrees already, we're not going to the park. I finally get it through his head that we're not going any where. Thus, I get the second most dreaded statement/question of my day. "Lets have a friend come over" or "which of my friends is coming over today?" Don't get me wrong, I love having his friends come over, but as soon as one friend leaves, he's all like "lets invite so and so over now". This kid could have a friend over 24/7.

Payton does the same thing, I wish you lived closer to us so they could play more.

You could move and then he would quickly realize that he doesn't have any friends that can come play. :) The first few weeks I had lots of requests, now the boys know that they just don't have friends!

They're 2 peas in a pod-except Maddie is a little more OCD (hmm-where's she get that one!?) Every morning I get the question, "Where are we going today?"-"WHAT TIME?"-"WHICH GROCERY STORE?"-"WHICH STREETS WILL WE TAKE TO GET THERE?"-"WHAT ARE WE EATING FOR DINNER (Note it's about 8 am at this point!). Wish we lived closer and they could play together more often!
