I love this time of year when the weather starts to cool, the grass turns greener and you can actually leave the doors and windows open without dying of heat. As we've planted our grass, my oldest had the great idea of making a grass head. We grabbed about a teaspoon of left over grass seed, potting soil and 6 inches of nylons. Pour the grass seed in first, pour in pre-moistened potting soil, use a rubber band for a nose and tie off the bottom. Water well every day and within a week, your grass head is sprouting hair.
Ours started out looking like Mr. Fredrickson from the movie UP, now it looks like blog with green hair.
