A great big Hello to all our family and friends this year. It is hard to imagine another year just around the corner. How fast time seems to fly. Looking back at the year, much has happened. We have added a new member to the family, celebrated 5 years of marriage and finally finished painting every room in our house.
Trent continues working as Accounting Manager for Schaller Anderson, which was recently acquired by Aetna Health. He has been busy with his service as Elders Quorum President and has recently called his 7th counselor to serve with him. Darn those people who keep moving! After completing a 17 week course, Trent also can add the title of Master Gardner to his many skills. While the course was both interesting and exciting, Trent found himself thinking he went about putting in our backyard all the wrong way. I have to keep telling him that he doesn't need to pull everything out of our backyard so he can start over.
Jackie found herself kept busy at the beginning of the year with her calling as Assistant Stake Camp Director for Young Women's. It was both a blessing and a challenge to serve in this capacity. After much preparation and planning, Girls Camp found themselves with an 8 month pregnant woman trying to hike around the mountains of Arizona. The second half of her year has been kept busy with the birth of our 2nd son. It is amazing how much hard work a 2 year and a newborn can be.
Jonas is a busy 2 year old. He is constantly on the go and we often have to tell ourselves that he is a great big spirit trapped in a little tiny body. He has been working on potty training for the past few months and has found that peeing on a tree is so much more fun. He constantly amazes us with his sharp mind, as he can tell you all the who all the Latter Day Prophets are, can tell you he is "dos" (2 in Spanish) and can repeat the Pledge of Allegiance. He loves to sing, give high five's and ride his big wheel. He is still adjusting to not being the only special boy in our life and often has to be reminded to be soft to his brother.
Finnegan joined our family in August and is so much fun. He has a great big smile and loves to look at anyone who will pay attention to him. His laugh is genuine and thinks everything his brother does is hilarious. He's also one tough cookie, as he is constantly having to withstand "accidental" blows from Jonas. He's got an appetite that will eventual eat us out of house and home and in both the 90% for height and weight. We hope this winter you will know that we wish each and everyone of you a Merry Christmas. What a wonderful time it is, as it allows us to think, ponder and to celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. May you know that all of you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Merry Christmas,
Trent, Jackie, Jonas and Finnegan
