Trent took Friday off, which was a huge treat. We made the day of it and took the boys to the MIM or Musical Instrument Museum. It was all the way in North Scottsdale, and well worth every minute we spent there. We were given headset and away we went. We toured exhibits of all the continents and countries from throughout the world. It was so interesting and would definitely go back, although, I could go with out kids next time. Fender had a big display so of course we had to have our picture in front. The boys loved the music from The Americas. The older one could tell you every instrument on the wall for the Jazz category, we couldn't move for a solid 8 minutes because the bagpipes was just the coolest thing ever, the ogled over the piano making movie and the thought the classical music section was one of the best. (Thank Heavens for Little Einsteins, they recognized every piece of music.) But by far the best part of the museum is the room where you could touch, play and make noise with a variety of instruments from around the world. By far worth it. Check it out sometime.
